DBA recognizes and applauds these candidates for their legislative excellence and for their alignment with its key priorities: focusing on sustainable growth, responsible stewardship of resources, and protecting Wisconsin’s water quality. “We are dedicated to ensuring a prosperous future for the agricultural community by striking a balance between environmental protections and practical solutions for farmers and regulators,” Chad Zuleger, DBA director of government affairs, said. “That is why it’s crucial for us to offer our support to candidates who share the same goals.” Through their actions and priorities, these candidates have demonstrated their alignment with policies that positively impact Wisconsin’s dairy community. “It’s important to recognize individuals who are actively aware of the significant issues impacting dairy farmers today,” Lee Kinnard, DBA board president, said. “We thank them for their continued efforts and dedication to moving dairy forward.” Seventeen state Senate seats are up for election this year. DBA has made endorsements in nine of those races.
