Dairy Strong is a high-caliber conference and our goal is to deliver relevant speakers and presenters. We are excited to announce that Gregg Doud, the nation’s chief agricultural negotiator, will speak on Jan. 23.
We understand the importance of global market access. Doud will call on his first-hand experience with recent trade negotiations, and audience members will have the opportunity to ask pointed questions.
Prior to joining the Office of the United States Trade Representative, Doud served as president of the Commodity Markets Council and as a senior professional staff member of the Senate Agriculture Committee for Sens. Pat Roberts and Thad Cochran. Doud was part of the team that crafted the 2012 Senate Farm Bill, and his portfolio of issues included international trade, food aid, livestock and oversight of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
Doud was raised on a dry-land wheat, grain sorghum, soybean, swine and cow-calf farm near Mankato in north-central Kansas. He was involved with FFA and 4-H. He is also co-owner of a centennial family farm that his parents continue to operate, and he is a partner in a commercial cow-calf operation.
Exciting Dairy Strong line-up:
Doud joins an exciting line-up of keynote presentations at Dairy Strong. Former sports agent Molly Fletcher, former Harley-Davidson executive Ken Schmidt and geopolitical strategist Peter Zeihan will inspire, motivate and entertain. Inclusive track sessions will cover consumer trends, dairy technology and business development. Again this year, there will be the fast-paced innovation stage presentations held in the heart of the trade show. New this year is a Wisconsin wine and cheese pairing stage held in conjunction with the Wisconsin Master Cheese Reception.
DBA has hosted Dairy Strong for six years, and every year we make changes to improve the program. There is literally something for everyone with numerous chances to personalize your experience.
